1. A method of coordinating access of a plurality of devices across a wireless link, comprising:
receiving through the wireless link, by each hub of a plurality of hubs associated with a base station, one or more data profiles from a network management element;
receiving, by each hub, data from one or more data sources associated with the hub;
controlling, by each hub, a timing of communication of the data for each of the one or more data sources from the hub to the base station through the wireless link based on the one or more data profiles;
allocating preamble codes to the data sources, wherein different preamble codes are allocated to different data sources of different hubs that report within a margin of time of each other; and
including the allocated preamble codes with the data of each of the data sources.
