1. A method for interference mitigation in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
determining a relative phase distribution for the antenna assembly of the wireless communication system to define relative phase distribution information for the antenna assembly;
generating a phase distribution map for the antenna assembly based on the relative phase distribution for each location on an orientation reference sphere or hemisphere; and
employing the phase distribution map to perform interference cancellation for the antenna assembly.
