1. A power tool comprising:
a housing;
a motor within the housing;
an inverter bridge configured to selectively provide power from a power source to the motor;
a current limiting switch; and
an electronic processor connected to the inverter bridge, the electronic processor configured to:
receive an indication related to whether the current limiting switch is enabled or disabled,
reduce a pulse-width-modulated (“PWM”) duty ratio provided to the inverter bridge when a current flow to the motor exceeds a predetermined current threshold when the current limiting switch is enabled, and
operate the inverter bridge without reducing the PWM duty ratio when the current flow exceeds the predetermined current threshold and when the current limiting switch is disabled.
