1. A control system for preventing occlusion of and minimizing shadows on a driver's face for driver monitoring,
the system comprising:
a vehicle dashboard;
a plurality of in-cabin cameras mounted horizontally across the vehicle dashboard;
a plurality of light sources positioned adjacent to the in-cabin cameras; and
an electronic control unit connected to the plurality of in-cabin cameras and the plurality of light sources to turn on selected ones of the plurality of the in-cabin cameras and ones of the plurality of light sources based on an amount of shading in an image of the driver's face.
