1. A method for making a fibrous mixture with a polymer, the method comprising:
depositing a fibrous material adjacent a first surface;
depositing a polymer liquid onto the fibrous material to form a mixture;
applying a cyclic pressure onto the mixture, wherein the cyclic pressure is characterized by an increase rate applied for a first duration (t1), a peak pressure value applied for a second duration (t2) to maintain the peak pressure value, and a decrease rate applied for a third duration (t3),
wherein the first duration (t1) is greater than the third duration (t3); and
ending the cyclic pressure to complete a pressurization cycle.
