1. A power plant facility comprising:
a gas turbine configured to combust a hydrocarbon fuel enriched with at least 10 percent hydrogen by volume;
a power generator configured to generate electricity from power supplied by the gas turbine;
an on-site hydrogen generation unit configured to generate hydrogen and excess steam and provide the hydrogen to the gas turbine;
a capture unit configured to provide a first carbon dioxide (CO2)-rich stream from a product of the hydrogen generation unit;
a post-combustion capture unit configured to generate a second CO2-rich stream from a combustion product of the gas turbine, the post-combustion capture unit including a CO2 absorber and a liquid solvent for absorbing CO2;
a waste heat recovery unit configured to pass the combustion product of the gas turbine to the post-combustion capture unit, and the waste heat recovery unit further configured to direct heat from the waste heat recovery unit to the post-combustion capture unit to provide the heat for regenerating the liquid solvent,
the power plant facility configured to use the excess steam from the hydrogen generation unit to provide heat for regenerating the liquid solvent; and
a sequestration compression unit configured to compress at least one of the first CO2-rich stream or the second CO2-rich stream into a third CO2-rich stream and convey the third CO2-rich stream from the sequestration unit towards a sequestration site.
