1. An external defibrillator comprising:
a detection circuit configured to detect, by electrodes, 12 or 15 electrocardiogram (ECG) signals indicative of an electrical activity of a heart of an individual;
a display screen configured to display 12 or 15 graphical elements respectively corresponding to the 12 or 15 ECG signals, wherein a first graphical element represents a first electrical potential between a first combination of the electrodes during a time interval, and a second graphical element represents a second electrical potential between a second combination of the electrodes during the time interval;
a user interface (UI) configured to selectively switch between a first arrangement and a second arrangement;
a processor; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
in response to the UI selecting the first arrangement, displaying, via the display screen, a first row and a first column of third graphical elements in a portrait format, wherein the third graphical elements are positioned side by side one another in the first row, and the third graphical elements are positioned above or below one another in the first column; or
in response to the UI selecting the second arrangement, displaying, via the display screen, a second row and a second column of fourth graphical elements in a landscape format, wherein the fourth graphical elements are positioned side by side one another in the second row, and the fourth graphical elements are positioned above or below one another in the second column.
