A method of human or non-human animal care, said method comprising administering to the human or non-human animal in need thereof, a prophylactically effective amount of a supplement comprising an algal species of Klebsormidium of NCMA Deposit # PATENT20160200, wherein said care comprises reduction or prevention of an effect of stress.
