1. A medical device comprising:
an elongate body including a distal portion and a proximal portion;
an inflatable treatment element being coupled to the distal portion of the elongate body;
a shaft; and
a fiber sensor, at least a portion of the fiber sensor being disposed within the inflatable treatment element, the fiber sensor having:
a first singlemode waveguide segment;
a second singlemode waveguide segment;
a third singlemode waveguide segment;
a first multimode waveguide segment; and
a second multimode waveguide segment,
the first multimode waveguide segment located between the first singlemode waveguide segment and the second singlemode waveguide segment and the second multimode waveguide segment located between the second singlemode waveguide segment and the third singlemode waveguide segment.
