1. A system for securing an article to a tissue by releasably engaging at least one securing device, the system comprising:
a tube comprising a distal end configured to contact the tissue;
a push rod at least partially disposed within the tube; and
a securing device at least partially disposed within the tube, the securing device comprising a first portion, a second portion, and a medial portion disposed between the first portion and the second portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion are each transitionable from a first deployment state to a second securing state; and
a tab standoff comprising a first end coupled to the medial portion of the securing device, a tab at a second end, and a slot disposed between the tab and the medial portion of the securing device,
wherein the push rod is engagable with the tab standoff.
