| 1. An imaging system comprising:
at least one generally circular detector array comprising a plurality of detector elements configured to generate responsive
signals corresponding to X-rays incident upon the detector array;
a generally circular, semicircular, or arcuate source configured to emit X-rays from a plurality of addressable X-ray source
locations, wherein the generally circular, semicircular or, arcuate source is disposed in a gap between adjacent generally
circular detector arrays, or in a gap defined by at least a portion of said at least one generally circular detector array;
and
a controller that non-sequentially activates the plurality of addressable X-ray source locations.
