| 1. A control method used by a digital image processing apparatus that records motion image data in a recording medium in a
motion image photographing mode, the method comprising:
(a) creating a motion image file in the recording medium and storing the motion image data in the motion image file when a
first primary signal is generated;
(b) pausing storage of the motion image data when a first secondary signal is generated;
(c) performing an optical zoom operation when a zoom signal is generated;
(d) resuming storage of motion image data when a second secondary signal is generated once a predetermined period of time
has passed after the optical zoom operation; and
(e) terminating storing of the motion image data and completing the motion image file when a second primary signal is generated.
