1. An audio identifying device which identifies audio which is present in an ambient environment outside of a vehicle and provides a result of the identification for a user who drives the vehicle, said device comprising:
an audio type judgment unit operable to judge a type of the audio using a feature of an audio signal which represents the audio;
a user action detection unit operable to detect a driving action of the user, wherein the driving action of the user is an operation performed by the user on a mechanism located inside of the vehicle;
an audio storage unit operable to store the audio signal; and
an identification result output unit operable to determine an output mode for providing the user with the identification result based on the type judged by said audio type judgment unit and the driving action detected by said user action detection unit, and to output, in the determined output mode, the audio signal stored in said audio storage unit as the identification result.
