| 1. A method for transmitting data segments to a terminal, the method comprising:
establishing a size of data segments for data transmitted to a terminal;
receiving a plurality of data segments in accordance with the established size; and
changing the established size based on an error condition associated with the received plurality of data segments, wherein
the error condition is a number of errored octets of the plurality of data segments.
