| 1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a polypeptide of no more than 125 amino acids in length comprising:
(a) an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2;
(b) an amino acid sequence having at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 2, and which is capable of associating with
a membrane;
(c) an amino acid sequence that differs from SEQ ID NO: 2 by no more than about 10 conserved amino acid substitutions, and
which is capable of associating with a membrane; or
(d) an amino acid sequence comprising amino acids 27-110 of SEQ ID NO: 2 which is capable of associating with a membrane.
