| 1. A communication system comprising:
a first wireless transceiver responsive to an evaluation of a communication channel by a second wireless transceiver, said
first wireless transceiver operable to adjust a size of a data packet to be transmitted to the second wireless transceiver
based on the evaluation of the communication channel by the second wireless transceiver;
where the first wireless transceiver is further operable to:
measure signal strength of a received signal;
determine a desired packet size for packets transmitted from the second wireless transceiver to the first wireless transceiver
based, at least in part, on the measured signal strength; and
transmit a message comprising information indicating the determined desired packet size.
