| 1. A digital camera comprising:
an obtaining unit, adapted to obtain digital data;
a compression unit, adapted to compress the digital data obtained by said obtaining unit;
a receiver unit, adapted to receive a secret key from an external device;
a generator unit, adapted to generate information for verifying digital data obtained by said obtaining unit, using the compressed
digital data and the secret key received by said receiver unit and carrying out a predetermined operation; and
a transmitter unit, adapted to transmit the information generated by said generator unit with the digital data obtained by
said obtaining unit to the external device.
