| 1. An image processing apparatus for transmitting, obtaining, and combining image data, said apparatus comprising:
an image data inputting unit adapted to input image data of a transmission source;
a sending unit adapted to send combination destination management information to an image processing apparatus of said transmission
source, said combination destination management information including managing image data of a combination destination when
the image data of said combination destination and the image data of said transmission source are combined;
a first obtaining unit adapted to obtain said combination destination management information;
a designating unit adapted to designate a combination of the image data of said transmission source with the image data of
said combination destination;
a first generating unit adapted to generate transmission source management information for managing the image data of said
transmission source;
a second generating unit adapted to generate update management information, in which said transmission source management information
is added to said combination destination management information;
a transferring unit adapted to transfer the image data of said transmission source and said update management information
to said image processing apparatus of said combination destination;
a second obtaining unit adapted to obtain the image data of said transmission source and said update management information;
and
a combining unit adapted to combine the image data of said combination destination with the image data of said transmission
source based on said update management information,
wherein said designating unit is also adapted to designate the image data of said combination destination of said combination
destination of the image data of said transmission source,
wherein said designating unit is also adapted to designate a combination position of the image data of said combination destination
of said combination destination of the image data of said transmission source, and
wherein said designating unit is also adapted to add the image data of said transmission source to an arbitrary page of said
combination destination.
