| 9. An image sensor comprising:
a pixel array having at least one column line for reading out a signal from at least one pixel;
a compensating circuit coupled to said at least one column line for sensing a first current value on said column line and
for supplying a compensating current to said column line so as to reduce an adverse effect of said first current when said
at least one pixel is being read out.
