| 1. An isolated or purified polypeptide which has a proteolytic activity of cutting at a Gly-Phe site or a Ser-Leu site of
a peptide or protein, and which is selected from the group consisting of:
(a) a polypeptide which is encoded by a polynucleotide having at least 95% sequence identity to nucleotides 253-816 of SEQ
ID NO: 1,
(b) a polypeptide which is encoded by a polynucleotide that hybridizes to the full complement of nucleotides 1-816 or to the
full complement of nucleotides 253-816 of SEQ ID NO: 1 under stringent conditions defined by washing at 65° C. in 0.5×SSC,
and
(c) a polypeptide which comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 or 3.
