1. A method for preserving artificial color on a keratin material, comprising:
applying to an artificially-colored keratin material a composition comprising siloxysilicate resin and at least one nylon 611/dimethicone copolymer;
wherein:
the siloxysilicate resin and the at least one nylon 611/dimethicone copolymer are present in a weight ratio of from about 3:1 to about 5:1; and
the siloxysilicate resin and/or the at least one nylon 611/dimethicone copolymer forms a film on the keratin material and the film fixes the artificial colorant to keratin material.
