| 1. A battery monitoring system, comprising:
a receiver; and
a plurality of wireless transmitters, each of the transmitters connectable to a corresponding battery, the transmitters being
encoded to identify the corresponding battery, the transmitters being programmed to transmit data regarding the corresponding
battery to the receiver, and the transmitters further being configured to connect a load across the corresponding battery,
the load being a modulated semiconductor configured to draw a current within an order of magnitude of a normal battery leakage
current.
