| 1. A rubber product-reinforcing metallic cord comprising a first pre-strand comprising a first metallic filament and a second metallic filament helically wrapped around said first metallic filament, and a fifth metallic filament, said first pre-strand and said fifth metallic filament being twisted together with a twist pitch P wherein said second metallic filament is wrapped around said first metallic filament with a pitch p1 which satisfies, with respect to the twist pitch P of the cord, the relation 0.922≤p1/ P≤0.991. |
