| 1. An image processing method for generating data for print output, comprising:
a condition selection step, of selecting one of a plurality of half tone processing conditions usable for generating the data
for print;
an information selection step, of selecting a piece of calibration information corresponding to the half tone processing condition
selected in said condition selection step from among a predetermined number of pieces of calibration information stored in
a storage unit, the predetermined number being smaller than the number of the half tone processing conditions;
a correction step, of correcting print output characteristics for the data by using the selected piece of calibration information;
and
a half tone processing step, of effecting half tone processing of the data corrected in said correction step under the half
tone processing condition corresponding to the selected piece of calibration information.
