| 1. A method for managing a subscriber communication session, the method comprising:
registering a subscriber in a communications switching network with:
a first identifier that identifies a primary session management server for managing the subscriber's communication sessions,
and
a second identifier that identifies a secondary session management server for managing the subscriber's communication sessions;
receiving at one of the primary session management server and the secondary session management server, from the communications
switching network, notification of a communication session initiated by the subscriber;
identifying a level of prepaid communication services possessed by the subscriber; and
instructing the communications switching network whether to accept the communication session.
