| 1. A liquid crystal display (LCD) comprising:
a plurality of data lines extending in a first direction;
a plurality of gate lines extending in a second direction, wherein the plurality of gate lines supply a gate signal to at
least two rows of pixel areas simultaneously, and further wherein the plurality of gate lines are connected to each other
or one another wherein a number of gate lines connected to each other or one another is the same as a number of data lines
disposed between the pixel areas; and
thin film transistors connected with the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines.
