| 1. A multilayer electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising:
an electroconductive substrate, and
at least an interlayer and a charge-generating layer formed on the substrate,
wherein the interlayer comprises a binder resin containing at least one of alizarin and an alizarin derivative, in which fine
metal oxide particles are dispersed, and that has a volume resistivity in a range of 1.0×108 Ω·cm to 1.0×1013 Ω·cm when an electric field of 106 V/m is applied thereto at 28° C. and 85% relative humidity; and
wherein the charge-generating layer comprises an anthraquinone derivative
wherein the anthraquinone derivative contained in the charge-generating layer is the same as the alizarin or alizarin derivative
contained in the interlayer.
