1. A gaming device comprising:
at least one processor;
at least one display device;
at least one input device; and
at least one memory device storing a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device to:
(a) display a play of a primary game operable upon a first wager, the first wager including a first designated amount of money which is greater than zero,
(b) randomly determine an outcome for the play of the primary game,
(c) if the randomly determined outcome for the play of the primary game corresponds to a designated triggering outcome, display an offer of at least one discounted game element to a player for at least one subsequent play of the primary game regardless of any wager amounts wagered by the player in any play of the primary game,
(d) enable the player to accept the displayed offer of the discounted game element for the at least one subsequent play of the primary game, wherein said acceptance of the displayed offer includes the player making a second wager of a second designated amount of money which is greater than zero, wherein the second designated amount of money is less than the first designated amount of money, and
(e) if the displayed offer is accepted by the player, display the discounted game element for the at least one subsequent play of the primary game, wherein any awards in said subsequent play of the primary game are based on a designated wager of a designated amount of money which is greater than the second designated amount of money.
