1. A motor control apparatus for controlling a motor, wherein the motor includes a rotor in which a permanent magnet and a conductor bar are arranged, the motor control apparatus comprising:
an inverter configured to apply a stator current to a stator coil of the motor; and
a control unit configured to control a torque of the conductor bar and magnetize or demagnetize the permanent magnet by controlling the stator current through the inverter;
wherein the control unit is configured to magnetize the permanent magnet by controlling a d-axis current of the stator current to be a positive value.
