1. An energy storage system, comprising battery pack, a converter, and a controller, wherein
the battery packs are a plurality of sets of battery packs or a plurality of battery packs connected to a grid through the converter, at least one piece of user equipment is connected to the grid, and each of the at least one piece of user equipment comprises electrical equipment and/or power supply equipment;
the controller is connected to the converter and the battery packs and the controller is configured to:
communicate with each of the at least one piece of user equipment and obtain information about the user equipment; and
control the converter and the battery packs based on the information about the user equipment, to provide electric energy to the electrical equipment or receive electric energy from the power supply equipment.
