| 1. A system comprising:
a circuit configured to execute a series of instructions and output encoded events corresponding to the execution of said
instructions;
a decoder for decoding said encoded events; and
a monitoring system that is configured to receive events;
wherein, said decoder is configured to selectively adjust the bandwidth of decoded events; and
wherein said decoder is configured to partially decode said encoded events, and output a subset of said decoded events as
well as any remaining encoded events.
