| 1. A method for screening gestational trophoblastic disease, comprising:
detecting the presence or level of Hydroxy-δ-5-steroid dehydrogenase, 3β- and steroid δ-isomerase 1 (HSD3B1)in a biological
sample of a subject and correlating said detection to gestational trophoblastic disease.
