| 1. An image-pickup apparatus configured to receive a lens apparatus including an aperture stop and an actuator for driving
the aperture stop, the image-pickup apparatus comprising:
a controller that controls energization of the actuator for driving the aperture stop,
wherein the controller receives from the lens apparatus information on a time period for controlling the energization of the
actuator, the information being set corresponding to the type of the actuator,
wherein, during an image-pickup period in a state in which the aperture stop has been driven to a target aperture position,
the controller outputs to the lens apparatus an instruction for stopping the energization of the actuator or reducing an energization
amount thereof in response to the elapse of the time period, and
wherein the type of the actuator is determined based on a difference in ability of holding a rotation position of the actuator
in a state where the energization thereof is stopped or a difference in package material of the actuator.
