1. An information processing apparatus which transmits print job information to an image forming unit that receives the print job information, and when rasterizing the print job information into a raster image and printing the raster image, corrects the raster image by using a correction table held in advance, comprising:
an acquisition unit configured to acquire, from the image forming unit, information on the correction table that is associated with a type of sheet;
a setting unit configured to be able to set information on a sheet used to print the raster image; and
a selection unit configured to compare information in the correction table acquired by said acquisition unit with the information on the sheet that is set by said setting unit, and select a correction table used to correct the raster image in accordance with predetermined priority when correction tables which match part of the information set by said setting unit exist,
wherein, when a plurality of correction tables exist at the same priority level, in selecting a correction table in accordance with the predetermined priority said selection unit selects a correction table whose creation date and time or update date and time are later.
