| 1. A method for producing an anatase-type titanium oxide powder comprising preheating titanium tetrachioride, oxygen gas, hydrogen gas, and steam at 450 to 6000° C. and reacting the preheated titanium tetrachioride, oxygen gas, hydrogen gas, and steam in a gaseous phase, wherein the amounts of oxygen gas, hydrogen gas, and steam supplied are respectively 60 to 90 l, 60 to 90 l, and 240 to 400 l per 1 l of titanium tetrachloride gas. |
