1. A hot water dispensing apparatus for use with a beverage maker having a source of heated water, the hot water dispensing apparatus comprising:
a housing having a first side with means for selectively removably attaching the housing to a first side of a beverage maker;
the housing having a second side with means for selectively removably attaching the housing to a second side of the beverage maker;
at least one controllable valve carried on the housing and extending from between the first and second sides for dispensing water from a beverage maker;
a water supply tube attachable to a source of heated water provided in a beverage maker and the valve to dispense water from a beverage maker through the valve, the water supply tube being positioned outside of the beverage maker and in the housing between the first and second sides;
a cover attachable to one of the first and second side which is not attached to the beverage maker for enclosing the water supply tube in the housing attached to a beverage maker.
