receiving, at a base station, a Walsh codeword from a mobile device, the Walsh codeword comprising a plurality of entries
and each entry representing a plurality of bits to clarify that the plurality of bits are the bits positioned at each column
of the entries in binary index of a generator matrix, but not the bits or symbols of the Walsh codeword; and
estimating at least one bit of the plurality of bits based on a set of fewer than all of the entries of the Walsh codeword.
