| 1. A method of performing switching amplification, the method comprising:
receiving an analog input signal;
generating a first pulse width modulated signal; and
generating a second pulse width modulated signal,
wherein if the magnitude of the analog input signal is above a threshold, the first pulse width modulated signal is constant
when the second pulse width modulated signal is switching and the second pulse width modulated signal is constant when the
first pulse width modulated signal is switching,
wherein the first and second pulse width modulated signals converge to a first pulse width when the magnitude of the input
signal decreases below the threshold.
