1. An inverter for a washer comprising:
a control unit configured to control a brushless DC motor that supplies a rotational driving force for performance of washing, rinsing and dehydrating operations with respect to a full automatic washer in which steps of wash, rinse and dehydration are consecutively carried out,
wherein the control unit controls the brushless DC motor so that the brushless DC motor is operated with a full field in the washing and rinsing operations and a low-speed rotation region of the dehydrating operation and so that the brushless DC motor is operated with a weak field in a high speed rotation region of the dehydrating operation, and
wherein the control unit controls an output torque of the brushless DC motor in a vector control based on a current command generated according to a speed command when the full field operation is carried out and the control unit controls the brushless DC motor in a voltage/phase control based on a voltage command and a phase command both generated according to the speed command when the field weakening operation is carried out.
