| 1. A method of separating a dimethylnaphthalene isomer, comprising:
passing a feedstock oil comprising a dimethylnaphthalene isomer mixture including an α,α-isomer, an α,β-isomer, and a β,β-isomer
through an adsorbent layer A including mordenite zeolite together with a developing solvent;
passing a liquid which has been passed through the adsorbent layer A though an adsorbent layer B including zeolite Y;
passing an eluent through the adsorbent layer B to obtain an eluate; and
separating the α,β-isomer from the eluate.
