1. A plate for securing a spacer body in an intervertebral disc space between a superior vertebral body and an inferior vertebral body, the spacer body comprising a proximal base portion, a distal end, a first side wall and an opposing second wall, the plate comprising:
a first side, a second side, a front surface, a rear surface and a pair of opposing coupling flanges that extend from the rear surface, the front facing surface defining a first radius of curvature proximate the first side of the plate and a second radius of curvature proximate the second side of the plate, the rear surface defining a curved face extending away from a top edge of the plate in a direction towards the distal end of the spacer body to a flat formed on the rear surface proximate the opposing coupling flanges,
the curved face defining a first curvature extending between a central vertical axis of the plate and the first side and defining a second curvature extending between the central vertical axis and the second side such that the entire first curvature is asymmetric with the second curvature, the plate forming an upper borehole and a lower borehole that are respectively positioned about a lateral center plane of the plate,
wherein the flanges include a mechanical coupling configured to be secured to the spacer body,
wherein the upper borehole and the lower borehole are adapted to each receive a bone screw to secure the spinal implant within the intervertebral disc space,
wherein the boreholes are configured to align with guide grooves formed as arcuate surfaces recessed in and extending along the top and bottom surface of the spacer body and wherein the bone screws received by the upper and lower boreholes can extend into the guide grooves.
