| 1. A light beam generating device comprising:
a housing including a window;
a pendulum assembly disposed within the housing, the pendulum assembly including:
a pendulum pendulously suspended within the housing,
a light source coupled to the pendulum, wherein the light source is operable to generate a beam of light along a pathway;
and
a level indicator coupled to the pendulum,
wherein the level indicator is viewable through the window of the housing to enable the user to determine the orientation
of the light beam.
