| 1. A lens drive apparatus which electrically drives an operation member provided in a lens apparatus and allows manual operation
of the operation member, comprising:
an electric driving switch which is operated to instruct electric drive of the operation member;
a motor which generates power to electrically drive the operation member;
a clutch provided in a power transmission path from the motor to the operation member;
a position detector which detects the position of the operation member;
a range setter which sets a permissible movement range of the operation member; and
a controller which controls the motor and the clutch in response to the operation of the electric driving switch,
wherein, in a case where the detected position by the position detector changes from the inside of the permissible movement
range to the outside thereof in a non-motor-driven state where the electric driving switch is not operated, the controller
controls the clutch so that a load on the movement of the operation member is increased in comparison with a case where the
detected position is within the permissible movement range.
