| 1. A display device comprising:
a display panel that displays an image on a first face of the display panel;
a backlight assembly that provides the display panel with light, the backlight assembly including a light source, an optical
sheet disposed adjacent a first area of the light source and a light-reflecting sheet disposed adjacent a second area of the
light source, wherein the light-reflecting sheet includes a first surface facing the light source and a second surface opposite
the first surface;
a receiving container including a bottom plate having an opening portion arranged for dissipating heat from the light source,
and a sidewall extended from edge portions of the bottom plate defining a receiving space for receiving the display panel
and the backlight assembly; and
a light-blocking member disposed at the second surface of the light-reflecting sheet.
