| 1. A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel comprising a plurality of pixel elements, each pixel element comprising:
a first substrate comprising a reflective portion;
a second substrate parallel to the first substrate and comprising a color filer layer disposed between the first substrate
and the second substrate, the color filter layer comprising an opening opposite to the reflective portion, a liquid crystal
layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and
an optical filter portion disposed in the opening of the color filter layer for providing color compensation in the reflection
mode.
