| 1. A semi-transmissive type liquid-crystal display device comprising:
scanning lines formed to extend along a first direction and arranged at predetermined intervals along a second direction perpendicular
to the first direction on a substrate;
signal lines formed to extend along the second direction and arranged at predetermined intervals along the first direction
on the substrate;
pixel regions defined on the substrate by the scanning lines and the signal lines;
transmission electrodes and reflection electrodes arranged in the respective pixel regions in such a way that one of the transmission
electrodes and a corresponding one of the reflection electrodes are located in each of the pixel regions; and
each of the reflection electrodes being disposed over the substrate in such a way that an interlayer insulating film and a
barrier metal film intervene between the said reflection electrode and the substrate, and being electrically connected to
the corresponding transmission electrode by way of the barrier metal film;
wherein in each of the pixel regions, one of the transmission electrodes and a corresponding one of the scanning lines are
arranged at a distance of 2 μm or greater.
