1. A method for making a crystal comprising a polypeptide complexed to a

OM-99-2 ligand consisting essentially of the steps of:
(a) combining equal volumes of (i) a mixture of 16 mg/ml of polypeptides of SEQ ID NO: 20 and SEQ ID NO: 22 wherein said polypeptides are generated by trans-cleavage processing of a polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 18; and 1.0 mM of OM-99-2 ligand; with (ii) a crystallization solution, said solution consisting essentially of water, 20% PEG3350 and 0.2 M K+/Na+ tartrate; and
(b) crystallizing said combination at about 4° C. using a hanging drop method.
