1. A method for sensing borehole data comprising the steps of:
deploying a shuttle in a borehole on conveyance, said shuttle comprising at least one sensor package communicably linked to at least one sensor communication line for transmitting borehole data uphole, said at least one sensor package having a clamp operable to clamp said at least one sensor package to an adjacent structure;
providing a weak point in the conveyance below said sensor section;
determining a tension in the conveyance at the weak point using a tension-sensing device;
selectively spooling downhole said shuttle attached to said conveyance, where said conveyance is attached to a spooling mechanism; and
selectively retracting uphole said shuttle using said conveyance attached to said spooling mechanism.
