1. A method performed by a wireless device to establish a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a network for accessing a network slice of the network, the method comprising:
receiving, from the network, an access control parameter configuration of an access category associated with the network slice while the wireless device is in an RRC inactive state; and
initiating a random access procedure for establishing the RRC connection with the network to access the network slice according to an access control indicator of the access control parameter configuration of the access category, wherein when the access control indicator includes a first value, the wireless device initiates the random access procedure without applying the access control parameter configuration, and when the access control indicator includes a second different value, the wireless device determines, by applying the access control parameter configuration, whether to initiate the random access procedure.
