1. A roadside assistance operations management method, comprising:
receiving, from a customer mobile device, a customer's location and a request for roadside assistance;
matching a provider to the customer, via one or more servers, using the customer location by identifying providers in proximity to the customer who are qualified to provide the requested roadside assistance;
transmitting, via the one or more servers, run requests to the providers for an estimated arrival time or a price bid;
automatically selecting, via the one or more servers, a provider associated with a shortest arrival time or a lowest bid price based upon responses to the run requests;
transmitting, via the one or more servers, a confirmation request to the selected provider to accept the request for roadside assistance; and
responding to a positive response to the confirmation request by transmitting, to the customer mobile device, information about the selected provider.
